Betting Glossary
New to online betting? Learn the key terms every player should know before placing a wager.
-
RTP (Return to Player)
RTP is the percentage of total wagered money a game pays back to players over time. A slot with 96% RTP returns ৳96 for every ৳100 wagered on average.
-
House Edge
The house edge is the mathematical advantage the casino holds over players. It is the complement of RTP — a game with 97% RTP has a 3% house edge.
-
Wager / Stake
A wager or stake is the amount of money you bet on a single round or outcome. Always set a stake that fits your bankroll.
-
Odds
Odds represent the probability of an event occurring and determine your potential payout. Higher odds mean a less likely outcome but a bigger return if you win.
-
Parlay / Accumulator
A parlay combines multiple bets into one. All selections must win for the bet to pay out, but the combined odds multiply your potential winnings significantly.
-
Live Bet (In-Play)
A live bet is placed while a match or game is already in progress. Odds update in real time based on the current score and game situation.
-
Cashout
The cashout feature lets you settle a bet before the event ends, locking in a partial win or cutting a potential loss based on current odds.
-
Bankroll
Your bankroll is the total amount of money set aside specifically for betting. Managing it wisely is the foundation of responsible gaming.
-
Volatility
Volatility (or variance) describes how often and how much a game pays out. High-volatility slots pay less frequently but offer larger prizes; low-volatility games pay smaller amounts more often.
-
Wagering Requirement
A wagering requirement specifies how many times you must bet a bonus amount before withdrawing winnings. For example, a ৳1,000 bonus with a 20x requirement means you must wager ৳20,000 total.
Account Verification (KYC) Guide
Completing your KYC verification is quick and protects your account. Here is what to expect step by step.

RTP & House Edge Explained
RTP, or Return to Player, is one of the most important numbers to understand before you start playing any casino game. Expressed as a percentage, RTP tells you how much of the total money wagered on a game is paid back to players over a large number of rounds. For example, if a slot machine has an RTP of 96%, it theoretically returns ৳96 for every ৳100 wagered across millions of spins — though individual sessions can vary wildly.
The house edge is simply the flip side of RTP. If a game has 97% RTP, the house edge is 3% — meaning the casino retains ৳3 on average from every ৳100 wagered. This is how online platforms sustain their operations while still delivering competitive returns. Understanding the house edge helps you choose games more strategically.
| Game Type | Typical RTP | House Edge |
|---|---|---|
| Slots | 92% – 98% | 2% – 8% |
| Blackjack | ~99% | ~1% |
| Roulette (European) | 94% – 97% | 3% – 6% |
| Baccarat (Banker) | ~99.6% | ~0.4% |
Not all games are created equal when it comes to house edge. Blackjack and Baccarat offer some of the lowest house edges in the casino, making them excellent choices for players who want to stretch their bankroll. Slots, while entertaining, typically carry a higher house edge — though progressive jackpot slots compensate with the chance of life-changing wins.
The key takeaway: always check the RTP of a game before playing, keep sessions within your bankroll limits, and treat gaming as entertainment rather than a guaranteed income source. d9999 displays RTP information transparently so Bangladeshi players can make informed decisions.
